| Notes | Praise be to God, we have received the underlined account sheet. We love you to give Al-Dakali. My master, with his honorable stamp on it, authorized him to deposit the rest of what he owed in it into the hands of the trustees of this Idrisid city, in agreement on the rule of paying the merchants. So I brought the mentioned Mustafa (butr) in the amount of agreement, and he replied that he pays one thousand and fifty mithqals every month. So I took advantage of that from him according to the percentage of what was left on him. Then when I did not collect what came from it into the treasury, God passed it back, and it is a shame that my master should distinguish it. Other merchants, because I have not seen anyone who is as beneficial as he is, his honorable side, his being full of obligations, easy to fulfill, and my master’s outlook is broader, and peace and love be upon him. |
