Praise be to God alone And may God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family and companions, our beloved jurist, the wise man, Mr. Idris al-Sarraj al-Sarraj, peace and mercy of God be upon you, for the goodness of our master, may God grant him victory. The carriers of the non-Muslim and his companion claim to have looted what they tied with the reins that reached you, Taybah, and they claim that they carried out what was drawn with it from this presence, so we love you, may God love you, and take your hand in both worlds. It is a certain good for you that you search for them so that they may be mentioned to you and named from those who shopped in this presence, what was drawn by the reins and you answer us about it according to what you have achieved, so help us in this matter, may God help you and with love and peace. And on the 16th of Rabi’ Al-Awwal in the year 1285 and the summer of high status in God, my relief.
