Notes	Praise be to God alone, our father, the jurist, Mr. Al-Tayeb Al-Bayaz. May God bless your evening and may God’s mercy be upon you for the goodness of our Lord, may God support him. And after our Lord responds to you, may God support him, pay what is in it to Bennani, the deputy of Moulay Abd al-Salam, son of Maulana Suleiman. Peace be upon Al-Tayyeb in the year 1255, may God grant him success. If you pay the above, return to us the honorable letter with it, our beloved Hajj, our beloved Mr. Idris al-Sarraj. Pay Mr. Hammad Bennani, and he will pay it to the house of Moulay Abd. Peace be upon you, three wasqs of wheat on the 14th of Rajab al-Fard in the year 1255. Tayeb Bayaz, may God grant him success and be kind to him.
