Praise be to God alone. On the 14th of Qa’dah in the year 1329, dear and righteous boy, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you for the goodness of our master, may God grant him victory. After we received your letter dated the 15th of the past, that our Lord, may God bless his happiness, paid him five thousand francs, eighty thousand francs, intending to put it with the three hundred thousand resulting from the two thousand of our line in Paris, and since the number mentioned in it is a Hassaniya note, I wrote to Al-Zikari to spend the amount received. Here he means the hundred franc coins for the Sherif every month, and they kept their house under it and on top to direct to him what she spent there so that he would direct it to us, and we all ask about it whatever the honorable consideration required, for we have come to mind what he was informed of, and when the aforementioned number reaches us, we direct it to us, its Lord, according to the knowledge of our master, that is, God, and may God gather us in you, and peace.
