The beginning of the manuscript: and knowledge of its value and its text: To all our brothers, the people of apparent abstraction, the people of Fez, and others. May the peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you. As for what follows, beware of you and then beware of the heart of the facts. By God, what is the service of Muhammad bin Ahmad Al-Bazidi Al-Ghumari to us? By God, his work is for no one but God, even if it were for anyone other than God so that he would be burdened with it. By God, God would not have served us a tenth of his service.
The end of the manuscript: And the suns of his day appeared with the appearance of his idol after he was absent from the descriptions of himself and was not satisfied with them for the blink of an eye. This is useful knowledge, and he indicated this in the ruling when he said: For you to accompany an ignorant person who is not satisfied with himself is better for you than to accompany a scholar who is satisfied with himself, that is, the knowledge of a scholar who is satisfied with himself.
