Praise be to God, Sheikh Idris Al-Moussawi, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. After that, Mr. Muhammad Ould Abi Ahmed Al-Moussawi, against whom Ali Al-Tahami claimed lineage, had stolen some of his crops and brought them to his sheikh and did not share them with him. So here we are, we have arrested him and imprisoned him until what he claimed is proven, otherwise he will be released, so it must cost him proof and peace on the 26th of Rabi’ 1284. Idris Al-Sarraj May God preserve the happiness of our master, the ascetic, the most pious, the most noble jurist, Sidi Idris Al-Sarraj, peace and mercy of God be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. After the neighbors of the stolen property came to us, namely, Sidi bin Ahmed, Idris bin Bouazza, and the partner of the stolen property, Sidi Muhammad bin Idris, and they testified that they saw the aforementioned Mr. Muhammad bin J. Ahmed, a thief carrying a basket of crops, so they said to him, “Fear God.” He said to him, “Hide me.” I welcomed the market and for about three days while he was confined to the crops, the crops were stolen for him and the hearing mentioned in the minutes of Sharif Al-Arabi Al-Dabbagh, J. Belkacem, and Al-Salam, and on Jumada Al-Akhir 2, 1284 on the authority of Abd Rabbuh, J. Belkacem.
