Notes The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) As for praising God Almighty for His bounty (...) the first thing suggested by the Qur’an and the highest thing the wings tend to attain is what facilitates understanding of the revealed Book of God (...) and I called it Mughni Al-Libb from the books of Arabs. The end of the manuscript: This is the last thing that is easy to include in this composition, so I ask God who bestowed upon me to create it and complete it in the Sacred Land in the sacred month of God, Dhul-Qa’dah (...) and to grant it great respect until the Day of Judgment. The second book of Mughni Al-Labib’s book was completed from the Book of Arabs, of what he meant by writing it (...) Jamal Al-Din Abu Muhammad Abdullah bin Yusuf bin Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Hisham and its completion in the afternoon of Monday, the 25th of Jumada Al-Thani in the year 1267 (?).
