Praise be to God alone and may God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad, our master, the jurist, the eminent Pasha, my master Idris Al-Sarraj. Peace and mercy of God be upon you with the presence of our Lord, may God grant him victory. And after that, you have informed us of the matter of our master Al-Asaad, just as you ordered the presence of those mentioned in his right hand, as well as in the testimony. The drawing is attached, and we have informed you of their corruption last year, and now the corruption has increased more than what we first informed you of, and accordingly we have informed you so that you may be mindful and in service and peace. On the 3rd of Rabi’ al-Awwal in the year 1287 your successor, Ali al-Mazkiti, al-Sayyid Muhammad ibn al-Siyy ibn al-Hajj al-Muhtasib, al-Sayyi Muhammad Laghzawi.
