Praise be to God alone, our love and our lover, the virtuous Sufi jurist and leader, Sidi Idris Al-Sarraj. May God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord the Imam, may God support him and grant him victory. Your happy childhood has been blessed by him with our coming, and safety and knowledge of the people of love among us, so we have regained your safety and well-being, if by God, all Muslims are this, and we are as pledged by those who returned you, love for us and brotherhood in God, and God will protect you and your descendants and enrich you in the Sunnah of creation. We are mentioned with praise for you and in their eyes as a note of reverence and affection of hearts with love and kindness, and for love and peace. On the 6th of Dhu al-Hijjah in the year two hundred and eighty-six, Muhammad al-Mahdi ibn Talib, may God be gracious to him.
