Notes	Praise be to God alone, our most beloved and leader, Muhammad ibn Talib, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you with the presence of our Lord, may God support him. And after that, his trustworthy bearer, Hajj Muhammad ibn al-Madani Bennis, has come back to us and you have told us in your dearest books that Boumediene Ibn al-Fazza’ al-Hamiyani plotted against his country and imposed iron upon his companions. So here we are, directing the aforementioned person to come to our council and rebuke him from that. You see, do with him, God willing, and we have no intention of honoring your orders. Peace be upon you. 22 Rabi’ al-Thani in the year 1275 and the successor of Maulana Farji, may God grant him peace.
