Praise be to God alone, our lover, the earthly jurist, Mr. Idris Al-Sarraj. May God’s peace and mercy be upon you. For the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. And after the order of our Lord, the Caliph, may God honor him, he addressed the Sharif, Sidi Hamadi Al-Darqawi, and the student, Mr. Mukhtar, and Al-Jazouli, and read to them the letter attached to this company, and he ordered the unjust one of them to abandon his country to him, and he charged them with performing the forced labor of our master, the runner-up, who was accompanied by your help and the masters of sight, and with love. Peace be upon the beginning of Ramadan in the year 1280 and the summer of high status, may God protect me
