Notes Praise be to God, when our Lord, the Commander of the Faithful and the successor of the Lord of the Worlds, may God preserve his glory and may God bless him and grant him peace, the chief jurist, Idris al-Sarraj, wanted to address Abd al-Rahman al-Shadid to pay him 177,713 from the bank, or give a guarantor and be released. He was told that he had no money and appointed a guarantor for a brotherhood and his family, and they were not sufficient, and he refused to give his property a document, and an order was issued by our Lord, may God grant him victory, to accept only from him. The people of his assets, since he did not give a full guarantor, and he has no choice in that matter. Rather, the horses are for the warehouse, and his assets are held under his responsibility. His martyrs, may God Almighty grant him protection, directed him to the permission of the one who must be paid. May God guide him and his companions, the servant of the aforementioned president, to the prison of this Idrisiya. He presented to the master what the honorable decree had been issued, and that he would pay what he owed as a payment of three hundred mithqals every month until he was fully in possession of his property. He replied that he was a listener and obedient to what he commanded. Our master, but his wealth in the first place is in the company of his brothers, he needs the obligatory work until his duty is clear from that and he obtains his duty, and if it appears to him otherwise, he extends the hand of possession of it, and what he pays from the mentioned number is with him when he follows it, so whoever comprehends from it what was mentioned, record it on his behalf and it is in the aforementioned place with validity, voluntary possession, and his custom on the ninth of Ramadan the Great in the year one thousand eighty-seven.
