Praise be to God, the principals of Al-Qaraouine and the schools at that time, the two eminent trustees, Mr. Muhammad Al-Mufaddal Al-Sarraj and Mr. Hajj Ahmed Al-Sharat, testified that they had acquired the land from the holder of the land, Mr. Al-Mukhtar Bouhlal, and whoever provided it, he appointed for him a share of the endowments of the aforementioned confinement, and fifty riyals, as a complete and specific possession, and absolved him of that. Those who knew his worth testified against them in their completeness and knowledge, and each one of them was erected in the cradle of Shahban Al-Abrak in the year one thousand and three hundred and fifteen, and he endowed it to me.
