Notes Praise be to God, our earthly lover and servant of our master Al-Ahda, the leader, Farajji. May peace and God’s mercy be upon you for the goodness of our master, may God grant him victory. Then, the people of intelligence are playing. The example of the Sicilian that you first directed to us, we kept from him under our hand, preserves it for us from what you directed from him, and we wrote to you that work should be on that in it. And if they were making that example before our master, may God grant him victory, but it was with them, then they were made for others, but since we saw it appropriate, we were satisfied with it, and we told you that the whole purpose of it would be. In the same way, they began to descend upon their base of deception. May God curse them little by little, to the point that this one whom you have directed to us now is a more beautiful one than he is doing to the common people, and the Sicilian is the mainstay for us in this honorable purpose. If he is not of the high type, then both are worthless. Accordingly, here we are, and we have returned to you half of four oqiyas. Two months, and everyone gets decency, and the teachers are on holiday, this is two days, and we pay this lesson to the women at home, not to the men, even to treat them. If time is running short, this is slackness. Do not blame our tidy side, for you know our nature. We love nothing but seriousness in the affairs of our Lord, may God support him, and upon love and peace. Bin Talib, praise be to God alone, and for your sovereignty, the purest peace and mercy of God in the presence of our Lord, may God support him. After the arrival of the Sicilian whom I directed, I went myself to the people of the Dhimmah who serve him and incited them to serve him and his quality as a goal. They apologized that they were not confused and did not insist on serving him, so he must be held accountable with them and pay them the price. The honorable command was presented to me about that, for these people of Sicilian, with most of them, are in a weak condition due to anxiety and love and peace. Maulana Farji’s successor, may God protect him
