Praise be to God alone, and may God’s blessings be upon our master and our master, Muhammad, and his family, our master, the leader, the earthly jurist, the learned scholar, the scholar, Sidi Idris. May the peace and mercy of God be upon you, for the best of our master, may God grant him victory. And after that, your dearest letter has come to us regarding those who complained in your presence that people from our councils had plundered their olives. Know, sir, that the defendants came with your friend, and his partners in the olives were present, and they mentioned in their tongues that eleven had plundered their olives, so we complied with your order and arrested them. We imprisoned them all, and we did not find anyone to bear witness to the aforementioned plunder, so the plaintiff and some of his accomplices rose and acquitted half of the aforementioned group, then the other party rose and acquitted those who remained, and this call has no basis, but it occurred from them against a soul, and this I am coming to you and verifying for you the calamity in its origins. Therefore, if the aforementioned Abd al-Qadir comes to you, then place him under your hands until we present him with peace and blessings on the 26th of Ramadan in the year 1281, on the authority of Ghazan Abd al-Jabbar bin Muhammad.
