Praise be to God alone and prayers and peace be upon our Master, the Messenger of God, our lover and servant of our master, the leader, Muhammad ibn Talib, may God protect you, may God’s peace be upon you, and may God’s mercy be upon you for the goodness of our master, may God support him. And after that, the jurist whom you directed to us with al-Yusi, we ruled against him with zero, and he was not satisfied with our disputes. We referred him to the Sharia with al-Yusi on the claim of plunder, and the Sharia judged them both with an oath and exonerated him justly, and he has no argument left against him, nor any compensation. He harms anyone, for he is one of the best of the tribe, and peace be upon him. On the 3rd of Jumada 2 in the year 1274, the servant of the high position, by God, Ham bin Ali Al-Uthmani, may God grant him success, a good remedy. As for Al-Yusi, against whom Al-Fasi claimed the animals, and here we are, we have directed against him one of our companions, by God, he is right.
