Title supplied by a modern hand on front page. Incipit: “Bismillāh al-Raḥmān al-Raḥīm. Muḥammad ibn ʻUmar ibn Yaḥyá al-ʻAlawī al-Ḥusaynī...” The beginning: “In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. The noble master Najm al-Din [Baha’ al-Sharaf] told us Abu al-Hasan Muhammad ibn al-Hasan ibn Ahmad ibn Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Umar ibn Yahya al-Alawi al-Husseini...” Modern (19th century) calligraphic naskhī; Persian text in nastaʻlīq; in red and black, ʻunwān in gold and colors on leaf 1 verso. Text in Arabic, with interlinear Persian translation.
