Notes	Title devised by cataloger. Copied in A.H. Z̲ī-Qaʻdah [i.e. Z̲ū al-Qaʻdah] 1271 [A.D. 1855] by ʻAbd al-Athīm ibn ʻAbd al-Karīm Ḥāfiẓ al-ʻUqaylī. Script: Fair nastaʻlīq, in red and black, fols. 1a-19b; calligraphic naskhī, in red and black, fols. 20a-60b. Decoration: Illuminated headpieces (fols. 1b, 20b, ; text frames illumianted throughout. Rubrication in red and blue. ʻUnwān in gold and colors on leaf 1 verso. Diagrams and charts. Binding: Persian lacquer binding over wooden boards, with astronomical diagrams on outside of covers; a movable pointer seems to have been attached to the diagram on the front cover, but is now missing. Paginated in a contemporary hand; numbering restarts at each new text. Partially foliated in a modern hand, followed in this record. In Persian (fols. 1a-19b, 48a-60b) and Arabic (fols. 20a-47b).

Contains (1) Khulāṣat al-taqwīm, a collection of calendar tables, fols. 1a-18b; (2) al-Mĭzăn fĭ al-usṭurlăb, a treatise on the astrolabe, in Arabic, copied about A.H. 1272 [A.D. 1855], fols. 20a-46a; (3) Ḥalqah-ʾi Karīmī, a treatise on the calendar, composed in A.H. 1259 [A.D. 1843], fols. 48a-60a. Folios 19a-20a, 31a, 46b-48a, 60b blank, except for illuminated border.
