Binding: Dark blue cloth over paper pasteboards, light pink pastedown. Decoration: Illuminated headpiece and frames at text pages. Rubrication throughout, including frames. Contemporary manuscript annotations in several hands, including words and poetic excerpts in Persian (f. 1a). In Ottoman Turkish wıth some Arabic and Persian.
Sample Text	Illuminated manuscript, on paper, of Nābī, Münşe'āt-ı Nābī, a collection of letters exchanged between Nābī and the Ottoman Empire's bureaucrats, grand viziers, chief Islamic jurists, and many others. Manuscript ends with "Eṭfāl ile Hocā" (اطفال اله جواجه ), a didactic tale about a scholar and a wise boy (ff. 172b-177b).
