Notes
This rare manuscript, penned by Naqshband-i Sani (d. 1703), the son of Khwajah Muhammad Maʿsum Sirhindi (son of Shaykh Ahmad Sirhindi), formed the basis for the later two volume published edition, which is also included in this collection. The manuscript is a compilation of epistelory discourses on aspects of Sufi practice and theology. Among the letters are those written in response to the Mughal princess and poet Zeb al-Nisaʾ. | Digitization for the Sufi Shrine Libraries of the Afghan-Pakistan Frontier collection was sponsored by the Modern Endangered Archives Program with funding from Arcadia. | public domain
