Notes Up to page 150, we find a treatise to prove that the virgin Odighitria who is venerated in our church, is the true and ancient one, drawn by Saint Luke and in great veneration in Constantinople since the times of the empress Saint Pulcheria. From page 150 of the 1st volume to page 485 of the 2nd volume, we find, in a rather confused order, the history of our mission from the origins to the present day of Father Salvi. Not very credible regarding the origin of the mission.
