Notes This file contains copies of the financial records of the Government of Bahrain that were sent to the British Political Agency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, headed by an agent. in Bahrain by Charles Belgrave, Adviser to the Government of Bahrain. The records cover the years 1354-1359AH (1935-1940). These records include details of the expenditure and budget of the government. The file also contains correspondence that discusses Bahrain's financial situation, notably the improved economic situation in the country caused by increased oil royalties being received by the government.
