This volume contains papers relating to the supply and gifting of arms and ammunition to the Sultan of Muscat and Oman during roughly the first half of the Second World War between 1939 and 1942. The papers are primarily receipts and lists of weapons and ammunition requested and subsequently transported from India to Muscat. Most of the correspondence takes place between British
