The volume contains an index (f 4), telegrams, letters, and reports related to the restoration of the port of Gwadur [Gwadar], which is in the possession of the Sultan of Muscat and Oman, to the Khan of Kalat in return of a money payment. The British Government raised concerns related to the activities of foreign governments, particularly Russia and France, at Gwadur. Reports were sent between British Officials with a detailed history of the ownership of Gwadur. The volume also includes a list of the Jams of the Las Bela [Lasbela] State and the contemporary Khans from 1742-1896.
