Notes Influential compendium of medicine written in 903 and dedicated to the Governor of Rayy, Abū Ṣāliḥ Manṣūr ibn Isḥāq (Abu Salih Mansur ibn Ishaq; see fol. 1v, line 3, transcribed below). The text is divided into ten books (articles), each one subdivided into chapters (chapters). The copy was completed at Mashhad on 1 Ramaḍān 1000/11 June 1592 by the physician Salmān al-Mūsawī (Salman al-Musawi the physician; see colophon Section at the end of a manuscript text. , f. 191v, lines 16-20, transcribed below). Begins (f. 1v, lines 2-4): Abu Bakr Muhammad bin Zakaria Al-Muttabbab Al-Razi, may God have mercy on him, said to all of Prince Sindi and Ibn My master Abu Solh Mansur bin Ishaq, may God prolong his life in my book, sentences, mosques, and nectads Eyes in the medical industry... Ends (f. 191v, lines 8-12): ...And as for those whose conversations were not many Inflamed, then for each pound of this total, take the weight of a dirham of mastic and the like Carmel, and something like it, is an ear of corn, so it is wrapped in a piece of cloth and thrown into it when cooking We have reviewed all the articles at the beginning of this book, so that our book may be completed in The location is praiseworthy...
