The item concerns a request from Artin Bey [Artin Bey Shoukry, also Artin Bey Sharkian], Minister of Foreign Affairs in Egypt, for passage to be granted to Ahmed Aga [Aḥmad Āghā, also referred to in the item as Ahmad Bey] and his suite from Bussora [Basra] to Bombay [Mumbai], and back from Bombay to Suez.
