The volume contains a number of reports on education in Kuwait authored by F J Wakelin, the Educational Adviser to the Government of Bahrain, after visits he made to Kuwait during this period. The file contains a limited amount of correspondence with the Ruler of Kuwait (Shaikh Aḥmad al-Jābir Āl Ṣabāḥ) including a copy of a letter (in its original Arabic) sent by the Shaikh to Cornelius James Pelly, the British
