Yaʼqūb Bū Dāwūd wali Butrus waya Mikhāʼūsīl Bū Dāwūd hilâf acwalhi minhulik wa-dhālik al-muʻallim Khalīl bi-maḥrūsah [...] bi-Dimashq al-Shām"; Elegant naskhī with rubrications; text in black, with headings and key phrases in red and light green; red double frames throughout; rosettes and geometric patterns as decorative elements; laid paper; watermark : Latin letters CIV, eagle, ornate shield with bend (dexter?); the first folio lacks the lower half; last folio verso smudged with ink; binding : tooled leather with Europeanate patterns and florated cross; binding cracked, but stable.
