Colophon after pt. 1: "intahha al-juz' al-awwal yatlūhu al-juz' al-thānī, mabda' al-faṣl al-madhkūr aʻlāh ... "; after pt 2. : "tamma al-kitāb bi-ḥamd Allāh wa-ḥusn tawfīqih; wafaqa al-farāgh min kitāb al-Tabṣirah al-Farḥūnīyah al-mubarāk Friday al-Awwal niṣfuhu aw aqalluhu bi-yawm ʻām khamsah wa-tisʻīn wa-alf ... wa-nasakhā al-nasikh al-madhkūr ... wa-dhālik ʻām 1096 ... "; Both parts in Maghribi script with rubrications. Pt. 1 in a clear, almost calligraphic hand, with distinctive angular kāfs. Breaks off abruptly on f. 212, colophon added later by a different hand. -- Pt. 2 is composed of several distinct parts, at least two of which are by different hands: the first part (ff. 1-111) ends abruptly with the heading for chapter 65 ("fī al-qadāyā li-lawath fī al-amwāl"); the following section, which is probably older, repeats that same heading and continues to fold. 201. The remainder of the volume appears to be older, and the handwriting in this section is more elegant. Some of its folios are affected by acid ink. It is followed by a quire in the same hand as the first section (ff. 202-212), which obviously replaces a lost quire of the original volume. The colophon would appear to belong to the older part of this volume. Both parts are bound in well-preserved bindings with flaps, with identical tolled ornamentation. Block of pt. 1 is loose and largely disbound.
