Notes	Wansharīsī's work on the principles of Islamic jurisprudence; each principle is illustrated with (elliptical) references to the furūʻ to which they apply; Followed by: 2- selected verses by ʻAbd al-Qādir al-Jīilāni; 3 - a poem by ʻĪsá ibn Mūsá al-Tijānī, on the companions and family of the Prophet, written to console himself over the death of his son; 4 - a commentrary on the same poem, by the author himself; 5 - al-Natāʼij al-almaʻīyah fī sharḥ al-Kāfiyah al-badīʻīyah, a commentary by Ṣafī al-Dīn ʻAbd al-ʻAzīz ibn Sarāyā [al-Ḥillī] on his own work on rhetoric. Colophon after item number 1: "kamlua wa-al-ḥamd li-Llāh ... awāʼil Ḥijjat ʻām 1042"; after item number 4: "wa kāna al-farāgh min naskhihi ḍuḥá yawm al-arbiāʼ awsaṭ Rajab sanat 1043 ... wa-katabahu ... Aḥmad ibn Fatḥ Allah al-Ṣanhājī al-Mālikī ... al-Tūnisī ... al-Binzartī"; colophon after item number5: "kamula al-kitāb bi-ḥamd Allāh ... fī ʻāshir yawm min Shaʻbān min ʻām 1043 ..."; In clear Maghribi script in several hands, with rubrications. Partly disbound, original binding lost. Some folios loose. Preserved in the cover of a modern printed book. Pages numbered consecutively, and apparently complete; third quire seems to thin and may be lacking a folio. On the empty leaf between items number 4 and 5 there is a "duʻā al-faraj baʻd al-shiddah".
