Arabic script → Dīwānī — paper — A letter to the King of England reporting on the improper behavior of a
English subject's lawsuit is brought. The scribe signs with a tughra-like
Entanglement in which Pertsch believes he reads "Muḥammad". One the back of the letter
Imprinted seal with the year 1161 (1748) adds "Ibn-Aḥmad". Below
According to Pertsch, this probably means the Grand Vizier Amīn Muḥammad Paşa Diwitdār. Pre-stapled are three letters from J.C.G. Adler, F. Temler and O.G. Tychsen, who
deal with the deciphering of Turkish writing; only what Adler says is
worth considering.
