Description of Adler's hand is - black - paper - 7 tax receipts on papers of different colors from the years 1135-1178/1722-1764.
The brownish receipt from 1138/1725 is for the payment of the middle poll tax
for the clergyman Tūmā Pāpāz, whose signal element (figure, hair, eyes, beard) is given
will. This document bears the stamps of Muḥāsib-i ǧizya Ḥāǧǧ Muḥammad and the
Account manager Ḥāǧǧ Ibrāhīm Defterī. The remaining receipts refer to the highest
or receive the lowest tax bracket are worded similarly. The last ones in time
5 receipts from the years 1173-1178/1759-1764 all belonged to Ǧirǧī Buṭrus
Aleppo.
