Mīr Khwānd describes the early conquests of the Muslims, including this victory over the Jewish fortress of Qamūṣ, which concluded the battle of Khaybar in 628. The Prophet Muḥammad watches from the right, as his son-in-law `Alī ibn Abī Ṭālib pulls the door from the fortress, and uses it as a shield.
