Folio fragment, ink on light brown papyrus, mounted on paper and framed under glass, cut at the top and bottom for re-use, later broken on right side (recto), Arabic text, written with thin pen parallel to the fibres (on recto), and with fine pen perpendicular to the fibres (on verso), two un-related documents, (recto:) commercial letter confirming wheat deliveries and shipments, (verso:) agricultural register of crops sown, land used, wheat and trefoil harvest yield and resulting tax calculations owed by two land-holders, unsigned, Egypt, undated, c. 700-900.
