Folio fragment, ink on fine, light brown papyrus, mounted on paper and framed under glass, broken off on left edge (recto) with substantial text loss, Arabic text, written with a fine pen parallel to the fibres (on recto) and perpendicular to the fibres (on verso), (recto:) tax receipt for Muḥammad son of `Abdullāh, (verso:) six columns of figures, using Greek letters as numerals, for a register of payments or impositions presumably also linked to taxation, text on verso written first, after which the folio was re-used to write the recto text, unsigned, Egypt, dated (on recto) 241-249H, 855-863.
