It has been said that joking does not take place except from absurdity or recklessness, and whoever is disturbed in a gathering of joking or talkativeness, let him remember God when he gets up. He said: “Whoever sits in a gathering in which there is a lot of talkativeness, then he says before he gets up from that gathering, Glory be to God, and with Your praise I bear witness that there is no god but You, I seek Your forgiveness and I turn to You, except that what happened in that gathering will be forgiven for him.”
