Addressed to a certain Khalil Khan, hakim and farmanfarma of 'Arabistan, Bakhtiyari, Chahar Mahall, etc. Confirmation of tax exemptions for Sayyids Ramazan, Jamal al-Din and 'Abd al-Karim from the village of Haydar in Mizdij.The document has various problems with regard to its date, the issuing ruler and its authenticity. Check the discussion in the notes to the edition. 'Ali Bahrami Astaraki argues for the date to be read as 1044. Mostafa 'Alizadeh Gul Sifidi (10/2012) also argues for 1044. Consequently this would be a decree by Shah Safi. He identifies the addressee as Khalil Khan Bakhtiyari who he mentions was at the head of the Il-i Bakhtiyari 1037-1070. He identifies the seal as a later confirmation by Shah 'Abbas II.
