Notes
The dishmukhs, dishpandiyas, muqaddams, ra'aya and muzar'iyan of parganah Kanhar, sarkar Dawlatabad, subah Awrangabad, are informed that as per nivishtah of Raja Raghnath, dt. 5th Jumadi II of the 5th regnal year (15.01.1663), an amount of 13 lakhs (1 lakh = 100 000) and 80 000 dams from the above mentioned parganah has been granted as jagir to Praji Deccani on transfer of Ibrahim and others with effect from the beginning of the fasl-i rabi' of the tavashqan-'il as detailed in the zimn. They should consider him as the jagirdar and inform him correctly about the collection of revenue of mal-i vajibi and huquq-i divani. The gumashtah and jagirdar are directed to behave properly with people and work for the development of agriculture and buildings.
