The Patriarch of the Greeks of Istanbul, Sofronyon, has a sealed notice (There is a Tamga-yı Nezaret) stating that the place of Çukacı Nikola veled-i Dimitri, a citizen of the Supreme State, who died three years ago while he was the owner of the field outside Edirnekapı and adjacent to the Greek cemetery, was handed over to his children Aleksandos, Ligor and Yani, that they were going to sell it to someone else, that Nikola had no other sons and that these children were still alive.
