Hudavendigâr Defter-i Hakani Officer Ahmet İzzet filed a sealed complaint stating that he was a relative of Hacı Vasıf Efendi, the warehouse clerk of the hospital in Medina-i Münevvere, who was a benefactor of the late Pertevniyal Valide Sultan, and that he asked for help due to his financial difficulties and that some money should be taken from Komidas Ağa, the tenant of the factory, and sent to Medina, on the condition that he would pay it back in installments.
