In response to his son's request to be appointed as the district governor of a place within the Hüdavendigâr province, the memoirs sent to the Hüdavendigâr province stated that he was retired because no one would be his guarantor because his embezzlement to the Evkaf-ı Hümayun had been heard by everyone, and that his desire to be appointed as the district governor of one of the places within the governorship was renewed if he could find a guarantor in the future.
