27/ Teşrîn-i, which was written on the letterhead of "Eastern Railways Operator Company Turkish Joint Stock Company" sent by the Eastern Railways Directorate with the signature of Sami, addressed to "Riyâset-i Aliyye of Taksim Statue Commission in Beyoğlu Department Municipality" and stated that one thousand Turkish liras were deposited by the company at the Ottoman Bank branch in Galata in order to contribute to the monument to be built.
