Mukhtar sealed memorandum written to Mir-i Miran Rüstem Pasha in Çiftesaray, Istanbul, stating that he could not control himself, that he was unfairly slandered, that he and his men were imprisoned for 15 days in Yenişehir upon the notice of Serficeli Yakup Bey, who was eager to take over the management of the farms of Pertevniyal Valide Sultan, that the said person made him an inspector of the farms, frightened the public and made him testify against him, and other troubles.
