The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family, and his companions. This is Sheikh Salih’s approval, may God have mercy on him, for our mentioned Sheikh, may God be pleased with him, and it has benefited us from it. Its text is after the basmalah: Praise be to God who has permitted the good, correct, accepted work, the best permit, and has promised to fulfill that on the day of handing over the book with the right hand, a promise that He, Glory be to Him, does not fail to fulfill. I bear witness that there is no god but God alone, who has no partner, no opponent, and no equal. A testimony by which the one who is suspended from the work will sacrifice his life and connect to it what was cut off, and prayers and peace be upon our Master Muhammad, whose destiny is raised above all. The Prophet, the Messenger of Purification, his pure and chain of ancestry, and upon his family and companions who followed him, there is evidence of preference, and he has become included in the totality of what I witnessed in every detail, and after that, when it was the year one thousand two hundred and thirty, my master and our master, the learned scholar, with (such and such) beautiful lineage, Sidi Abdul Qadir, known as Ibn Abdullah bin Sidi, and my master Mustafa bin bin Al-Sayyid, the late Sheikh Abi Muhammad Abdul Qadir bin Sidi Al-Sayyid Abdullah Al-Maghribi, Al-Musharrafi Province, the Sharif Al-Hasani Al-Idrissi tribe, arrived to us by lineage. Al-Rashidi is the homeland and birthplace of Al-Gharisi, Grace of the Central Morocco. May God make it easy for us to meet him, and we benefited from his benefits, and he read to us and we heard from him the beginning of the six mothers and the serial hadith.
The end of the manuscript: This and I ask my lord Abd al-Qadir al-Madhkoor, who does not forget me about the favor of supplications in seclusion and gatherings, and he said it with his mouth and his number with his pen, a prisoner of sins with many faults, a servant of the sandals of the people of knowledge, Muhammad Salih ibn Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn Abd al-Latif ibn Abd al-Salam al-Zamzami, known as the chief al-Zubayri, of Meccan lineage, the Shafi’i country, the Ash’ari school of thought, the Shafi’i mufti of protected Mecca, may God repent and pardon him and those who supplicate for him. It ended, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family and companions. I finish.
