Sample Text A grid-tied DC/AC converter transfers the energy to the power system under different operating conditions such as DC-Link voltage level, power factor, and instability in the grid voltage. There are some effects of the operating conditions to the DC-Link capacitor lifetime. The DC-Link capacitor current characteristic is affected by the operating conditions. In this paper, the DC-Link capacitor lifetime and current ripple are observed under different DC-Link voltage level, power factor and grid conditions for grid-tied 10kVA DC/AC converter. Simulation results are shown and interpreted.
