Energy has been a very important factor in human history and progress from past to present. The diversity of energy sources, which started with the use of wood and coal, has increased with renewable energy sources. Although energy resources are so important, energy investments cause serious problems in terms of human and environmental health. The aim of this study is to examine the concept of public consent in the context of energy investments. In this context, the public's opposition to the investments made, the strategies that need to be developed outside the legal legislation against these resistances, and the examination of the relevant laws and regulations within the scope of the legal legislation are evaluated within the scope of the specific objectives of the study. Within the framework of these purposes, in the first part of the study, energy investments and their types, and in the second part, public consent within the scope of energy investments and public relations in this process are discussed. In the third part of the study, examples of public movements against energy investments in the world and in Turkey and what can be done outside of legal legislation and within the scope of legal legislation in the process of public consent in energy investments are discussed., Energy has been a very important factor in terms of human history and progress from past to present.
