Health law debates, which increased parabolically in Turkey with the "Compulsory Financial Liability Insurance for Medical Malpractice" in 2010, continue with all their dynamism today. This practice, which aims to resolve the legal responsibilities of physicians arising from medical malpractice through financial compensation, does not address the current healthcare system problems and considers the physician-patient relationship as purely legal contracts. Since dentistry is a branch with the highest patient circulation in outpatient treatment, there are often problems in informing patients during the practice, and dentists are sentenced to pay compensation as a solution to these problems. While this study evaluates Dentistry as a profession within the history of medicine; Since there is no distinction between dentist / medical doctor in practice, it examines current health policies, legal sanctions and medical ethics based on all physicians from the perspective of autonomy within the framework of the ethical theories they are based on., In Turkey, Compulsive liability insurance for medical malpractice was made mandatory in 2010. Since then the health law debates have been increasing parabolically and the debates are still continuously dynamically. This practice aims to solve the legal responsibilities of physicians arising from medical practice errors with material compensation and does not mention the current health system problems and considers the physician patient relationship as purely legal contracts. Since dentists are a branch with the most intensive patient circulation in outpatient treatment, there are often problems in the treatment of patients during the application, and dentists are condemned to pay compensation for these problems. This study evaluates Dentistry as a profession in the history of medicine; For all physicians, in legal practice there is no differentiation between dentists and medical physicians, this study examines current health policies, legal sanctions and the ethical rules of medical ethics from the perspective of autonomy within the framework of ethical theories.
