The purpose of this policy is to make the university-addressed scientific research outputs of Özyeğin University members available to the whole world via the internet, free of charge, within the framework of open access principles. With this policy, not only the immediate visibility of scientific outputs is ensured, but also the protection and preservation of intellectual heritage is ensured. Publishing research publications through open access will help both the university and the researchers to be better known all over the world and the research to receive more citations; It will also increase the reputation and recognition of the university. Publications included in the scope are research outputs, articles, conference proceedings, master's and doctoral theses, book chapters or preprints, final editions or publisher's versions of other publications. In addition, project outputs supported by funding organizations and scientific seminars and conferences held at Özyeğin University are also included in the academic archive.
