Upon receiving information that the bandits were in Olympos, Verdekoşe (Verdikousa) and Krania mountains, detachments were sent out from Dışkat (Deskati), Kozköy, Çaporine and Serfiçe to surround them, but the gendarmerie, officers and especially the village headmen did not help in showing the bandits' locations.
