Örnek Metin Content Partner: Alexander Turnbull Library. `The transcript was made in India not earlier than the 17th century - most probably in the latter half of the 18th century' - G Meredith-Owens, Dept Oriental Printed Books and Manuscripts, British Museum. Tentatively linked by Meredith-Owens with Kissah i Malikah Shahzdah i Rum which has some features in common, and with Bahar i Danish (held BL), but the text of the introduction of the latter differs greatly. (c.f. letter from G. Meredith-Owens to C.R.H. Taylor, 20 May 1954; filed at Archives New Zealand, AAOJ/6016/152a). Quantity: 1 volume(s). Physical Description: paper, 59 leaves, bound; 280 x 185 mm. Bound in contemporary Persian red goatskin with inlaid floral decoration; red goatskin doublures. enclosed in later buckram-covered 4-flap folder. Provenance: Calligrapher is Nawwab Ali Khan Bahadur Harjak -- colophon [vowelling uncertain on Harjak]. Inscription in ink on front flyleaf is a name "Khalil Falah" [Khalil is possibly a nickname]. Illustrated with hand-painted miniatures, and illuminated in gold leaf.
